Open to NI Collaborators, NHS England has launched the fourth round of its Cancer Innovation Open Call competition.
Applications are invited for innovations and approaches that can support earlier cancer detection and increase the proportion of cancers diagnosed at stages one and two. The competition aims to fast-track proven, late-stage innovations into frontline settings, while addressing implementation evidence gaps across the cancer pathway.
The call is open to a broad range of innovations, including medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, digital health solutions, software and artificial intelligence, behavioural interventions, and new models of care.
The competition includes two funding streams, with up to £3 million available to support real-world implementation and evaluation projects across NHS sites in England, and up to £5 million available to support the spread and adoption of mature innovations through Cancer Alliances and Integrated Care Boards.
NHS England will be hosting a launch webinar on 18 June, 3:15pm – 5pm to provide further details and you can register for that session here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/briefing-webinar-nhs-cancer-programme-innovation-open-call-4-tickets-1990182731123?aff=oddtdtcreato
