HIRANI are pleased to be hosting their first Cross-Sector workshop, in partnership with the Academy of Medical Sciences, to bring together Northern Ireland innovators and researchers from across Northern Ireland within different fields to promote health innovation.  This event offers a unique platform for cross-career collaboration and knowledge exchange. 

This free workshop will take place on Friday, 6th of December from 9:30am until 3.30pm.

Venue: The Octagon, Ulster University, Coleraine Campus, Cromore Road, Coleraine BT52 1SA .

The event will focus on highlighting cardiometabolic challenges through a multi-perspective approach, including patient, industry, healthcare practitioner and researchers as well as positing areas for improvement and opportunities for collaboration going forward. 

Who should attend?

We welcome individuals from all sectors and all career stages to attend. We encourage you to invite colleagues and peers, especially those who are in the early stages of their research careers.

What to expect:

Speakers from the Northern Ireland universities, companies and the HSC.

There will be facilitated learning and knowledge exchange, bringing together clinical, academic and industry professionals. 

Introduction to the Cross Sector Programme and networking hubs from the Academy of Medical Sciences and HIRANI.

Table discussions and networking opportunities. 

Extended time to network with other participants to find areas of common interest and explore further connections and potential collaborations.
