New regulations for running clinical trials in the UK will be implemented on 28 April 2026, to strengthen patient safety, accelerate approvals, support innovation and enable more people UK-wide to benefit from taking part in vital research.
The updated regulations were shaped by feedback from patients, researchers, doctors and industry. Both the MHRA and HRA have published guidance to support stakeholders through the transition.
This webinar held in partnership with HRA will:
Remind industry / stakeholders about the preparatory guidance that is available, clarify any transitional arrangements – and signpost to further support
Engage with the audience on key themes, such as Route B substantial modifications
Provide an opportunity to ask questions about the new regulations
