Developing Health-Tech Skills: Impacting Belfast and Beyond.
This event is designed to begin to address critical technical skills gaps faced by Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) and Chief Scientific Officers (CSOs) and Future Health Tech Leaders in the bio-tech, med-tech, and health-tech sectors. The agenda will include device development, manufacturing processes, data analytics, sensors, activity monitoring, large language models (LLMs), and regulatory pathways.
Event Purpose
To support technical leaders in building expertise across the extended technology stack required for the successful delivery of next-generation health technologies. The event will introduce a schedule of skills development sessions and funding opportunities to work with health, academic and civic partners focused on health in Belfast. The event is supported by funding from an EPSRC Place Based Impact Accelerator Account which will operate over the next 3 years.
