Join us for the Eighth instalment of an exciting new webinar series from the Respiratory Data Science Catalyst!

The Respiratory Data Science Catalyst, which is led by Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) and funded by Asthma + Lung UK, is a partnership which facilitates and accelerates health data research into chronic and acute respiratory conditions.

We’re excited for the next installment of our academic webinar series – with the next session taking place on Wednesday, 1st April 2026 (11:30-12:30). This event will feature insightful talks from:

Ian Douglas, Professor of Pharmacoepidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), who will be presenting on Using Routinely Collected Data to Estimate Intended Treatment Effects in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Marleen Bokern, an Early Career Researcher at LSHTM, who will discuss Investigating Biases in Observational Studies of Inhaled Corticosteroids and the Risk of COVID-19-Related Outcomes.

We warmly invite you to join us at this first webinar to learn more and ask questions about the exciting research taking place and what it means for developing new treatments in Respiratory Medicine.
