The Role
A typical day for a Peptide Chemist in Sciences is far from typical. The role is dynamic and versatile in its daily tasks.
The main function of the role is to perform high quality chemistry for our clients to agreed timelines. You will carry out contract research projects, gram scale synthesis and process development prior to the synthesis of larger amounts of the target molecules. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team you will plan carefully, carry out your work safely and document and communicate your methods and results accurately.

Key Requirements
Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, employment in the UK
To be successful in this position you will need a Degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or other closely related discipline with Practical laboratory experience of the organic synthesis and analysis from either university studies or previous industrial placements. It would be essential that you can demonstrate scientific excellence, attention to detail and a passion for chemistry with good experience of literature searching tools
