New Innovator Funding Now Open

As part of the NI Health and Life Sciences Launchpad, UK registered micro and small businesses can apply for a share of up to £1.5 million for projects that grow their innovation activities in the life and health sciences cluster in Northern Ireland.

This “New Innovator” funding is for early-stage businesses to develop highly innovative ideas that have a clear route to commercialisation and business growth. Micro and small businesses new to Innovate UK funding support will be invited to apply for up to £50,000 of grant funding for their projects.

Join Innovate UK on 14th May from 10am to 11.30am for a competition support Q&A session. Register here https://web-eur.cvent.com/event/5a46b83d-87cf-48f7-ba71-33c2dc96ea5e/regPage:8113cbb8-8726-4fd8-abd5-b98a802d36c2

This Launchpad is supported by Health Innovation Research Alliance Northern Ireland (HIRANI) who have been awarded a grant by Innovate UK due to their sector and regional knowledge. HIRANI will enrich the strategies and impact of innovators in the cluster, alongside providing a hub of intelligence and community engagement for the wider cluster practitioners.

For this strand of funding HIRANI will be available for conversations with potential applicants to talk through your bid at a support clinic.

To register your interest in joining the HIRANI support clinic, email your details to info@hira-ni.com

Situated in Northern Ireland, this Launchpad is dedicated to the advancement of healthcare solutions and medical breakthroughs. Innovate UK is partnering on this Launchpad with Invest Northern Ireland.

The competition will close on Wednesday 19th June at 11am.
