Our company of the month for November is TruCorp who have over 20 years of experience in the medical simulation market. Founded in 2002, their journey started as a spin out from QUBIS, when two anaesthetists who recognized a gap in the availability of high-quality, anatomically accurate medical models.
“From there we evolved and designed a wide variety of products for training healthcare professionals in critical skills such as airway management, trauma care, and surgical procedures. With a focus on innovation, reliability, and delivering exceptional products, we have built a reputation for excellence in medical simulation. Our growth has been supported by strong partnerships with distribution networks locally and globally, healthcare professionals, local universities, Life science networks and Invest Northern Ireland, who have provided vital assistance in our expansion through several innovation vouchers, TDI, R&D grants and Growth Accelerator Programs,” explained Ryan Colhoun, Product Director and Co-Owner.

“At our Lurgan location, we operate under one roof as one team, handling everything from design and manufacturing to logistics, finance, sales and marketing. Since our inception, we have evolved to produce a wide range of training manikins for airway management, trauma training, ultrasound, and paediatric procedural skills, alongside a portfolio of simulation apps. Our customers include paramedics, pre-hospital professionals, military personnel, and teaching hospitals, among others. This model integrates sensors with an interactive app, offering instant audio and text feedback and detailed analytics, enabling healthcare professionals to refine their techniques and enhance their skills in a controlled, educational environment.
“We constantly explore new ways to refine and expand our product offerings to meet the evolving needs of healthcare professionals. This is proven by two successful patents that are used in our products.

We have also been awarded the platinum level innovator certificate from Innovate NI.
